- Wildtype (cultured salmon): available at specialty grocers
Price Progress
Lab-grown chicken now costs $12/pound (down from $50/pound in 2024), approaching parity with organic chicken. Industry leaders predict price parity with conventional meat by 2028 as production scales up.
